What is Europa?

Europa.eu is the portal site of the European Union, where you may find information related to European Union affairs and European integration. It also provides online access to the websites of the different European Union institutions. It allows users to do three things:

-          Get information on the EU and what it does

-          Give them feedback on EU policies, activities and services

-          Perform certain transactions (like tender for contracts, apply for jobs, order and buy documents, etc.)

There are some links dedicated to several subjects, such as business, Non-governmental bodies and organizations, schools and universities, job seekers, and kids.

There is also a site called “Documentation centre” dedicated to EU documents, where you can consult several documents, from legal texts to historical records, the latest EU-wide surveys and opinion polls.

The portal is available in all the official languages of the EU and is also available for everyone, including older people and people with disabilities, so what not trying it yourself? http://europa.eu/index_en.htm
