Music is an artistic form of auditory communication incorporating instrumental or vocal tones in a structured and continuous manner.
The History of music is the study of different traditions in music and their development over time.
Since every known culture has some form of musical expression, the history of music covers all societies and eras, and not confined to the West, where we used to use the history of music expression to refer to the history of what now is called classical music.
The expression of emotions and ideas through music is closely related to all other aspects of that culture, including political and economic organization, technical development, the attitude of the composers and their relationship with listeners, the more generalized aesthetic ideas of each community's vision about the role of art in society as well as biographical variants of each author.
In its broadest sense, music is born with the human being, and it was present, according to some scholars, more than 50,000 years ago. It is therefore a cultural universal.
There are a lot of different kinds of music, like : Rock and Roll, Pop, Hip Hop, Rap, Ska, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Reggaeton, Salsa, Cumbia ..
With the current advance in technology, we can access the music in many different ways, but the most used is internet. Internet offer us the possibility of hearing everything we want, and besides, we are offered the possibility of downloading music files.
