p2p networks

P2P is the common abrevation of  peer-to-peer, and refers to any network which it´s structure consist on a number of members that each one is encharge of a potion of the network´s resources, instead of concetrating it at a single server. This structure allows the members to be costumers and suppliers of the information at the same time.

Nowadays, this type of networks are emerging through society with file sharing systems such as Napster, Edonkey or Kazaa. The structure for classifying and verifying shared information, makes it easy for people to learn how to use it. Actually, P2P networks have not yet explored all the utilities it has and improves along the way of the tecnological development, With new security and file storing systems. P2P Networks are becoming the prime competitor of th traditional client-serve model, but it is unlikely that that they will replace the client-serve system.
